Rugged Ridge Premium Low-Back Bucket Seat Tan Reviews
Giving "4.5" stars instead of 5 because **threads to not match factory**. Instructions say to re-use factory bolts, which are standard 5/16", but this seat's thread is metric M8. Otherwise a very nice seat, well-manufactured, and excellent color/texture fabric match. But needed extra trip to hardware store due to misleading instruction :/
Well built, good bang for the buck, but not very comfortable. If I could juuust get it to "recline" like... just an inch, it would be SO much better. As is, the seat back is nearly vertical / 90 degrees, and the top of the seatback digs right into my mid-upper back. Like I said - if it could just recline (or BEND) back even a little bit, it'd be 1000% better.
I needed replacement seats for my ‘97 TJ. My old seats were totally roached and somehow these are worse. They added about 3 inches up to my seat position. So now I can’t see any red lights I’m at or street signs. Also somehow sliding the seats back and forth is harder than ever. I knew they wouldn’t recline when I got them but hoped they would be leaned back enough that they were comfortable. The back of the seat is basically straight up and down. Just rode for a few hours yesterday and was super uncomfortable.
If I had the chance to do it again I’d keep my old beat up seats. This was a waste of money. Wish there was a better low back seat option out there
