Quality product. Note if you add extra gauges above the two factory gauges you will not be able to use this as it fits directly behind the gauge area and does not allow clearance for additional gauges

Will this work for a 1976 Cj-7? If not, can you provide me with the correct part number?
The size is not correct for 1976 and unfortunately we don't have a supplier for it. OE # for 76-77 is 8127390. Thanks for your inquiry.

Are 2 of these necessary up under the dash? One for driver's side defrost and another for passenger side defrost?
There is only one of these needed. The deflectors (17907.04) that go over top of this control the direction of the air.
