Magnaflow Performance "Street Series" Cat Back Exhaust System Reviews
Arrived quick, love the sound not too loud and just enough to know I have a performance exhaust. I had no issue installing this cat back system. Used original hardware on the new studs that were pre installed on the exhaust pipe. I would trade it higher but two issues kept it from a five. One of the studs that comes pre pressed was lose and luckily for me it didn’t fall out of the packaging during deliver, second they don’t offer it for my 06 wrangler Rubicon in black.. I guess in the end I mounted the exhaust with no problems and the chrome tip will get sprayed black at one point. I also installed new magnaflow catalytic converters with new sensors at the same time. My Jeep popped a code which led me to the catalytic purchase and while I was there upgraded the exhaust, runs better, breathes better, not sure how much my mileage will improve but time will tell, oh and no more engine P0421 DTC, SO IM HAPPY. FYI I Also installed a banks ram air kit, huge difference overall and happy with the performance and dependability of parts..
PN 15855 Cat. No. 17613 1231 07 I ordered at the end of February and received beginning of March. Part was back ordered. Not a problem as it was to cold to install. Instructions easy to understand. Studs on old muffler snapped off. You will need to pick up some 10mmx150 nuts and washers before you start. Old pipe I cut with saws all. Muffler went on fine, tail pipe.......... Had an alignment issue. Worked around it in different ways but couldn’t get the chrome pipe to line up straight. It’s seems to be hanging a little lower then the stock tail pipe. I think I can live with it. It’s not as loud as I hoped but a low tone. Engine is breathing a lot better with the K&N air filter. All in all. Not a bad purchase.
