The wider spark plug gap will allow more spark energy into the combustion chambers providing more power and improved mileage. The Screamin' Demon is too hot for stock plug wires. 8 mm spiral core wires are highly recommended. The Screamin' Demon is an externally mounted coil.
The Screamin' Demon features a brass coil wire terminal that is more conductive than the stock aluminum terminal and resists corrosion. Plug gaps can be increased to .065 due to the energy of this coil.

This is a well made unit. Now I have a Hot Spark. It really made a difference
I don't know if this made any difference in the way my Jeep runs, but it seems to start a bit easier. I did notice a difference once I replaced the plug wires with 8mm wires.
I bought this to see if I could get it to start more easily and quickly. I later learned that even with fuel injection, if you pump the gas pedal 5 or 6 times, it starts up right away.
I ordered this product for my cherokee on January 20th 2018. Today is September 2nd 2018 and this coil has died on me. I'm glad I saved the old coil so I could get the jeep up and running. This coil didn't even last 9 month's. I would not call this a quality product. If performance distributors would like to make this right I will update this review.
