Gibson Stainless Steel Split Rear Exhaust Reviews
Second time purchasing this exhaust! Had on my 2008 JK Unlimited and now my new 2014 JK Unlimited. Aggressive tone and great performance! Added Volant air intake, throttle body spacer with Flashpaq to tune on both builds.
I have had multiple exhausts for my jeep in the past few years. The gibson systems are by far the best sounding exhaust. That being said it really does require about 3000 miles for the sound and tone to really start sounding good. The issue however is that these exhausts rust heavily. Before the stainless steel version I had the side exit one and it completely rusted out, now that I have this one I can tell you that this one does not rust and the same goes for its tips. As for its sound at anything under 3000 rpms it sounds like a 4BT cummins with an exhaust on it, Ive had plenty of people come up to me asking if its a swap. As for high rpms it sounds like a 350z. Money well spent in my opinion.
