Synergy Manufacturing Rear Coil Spring Wedges Reviews
These Synergy coil correction wedged do exactly what they're supposed to do. They are just the right part to straighten your coils your coils are bowed due to installing a lift kit or after market control arms. They adjust the angle of the springs by 10 degrees relative to the perch. I agree with Daniel R's comment that instructions would be nice if only to make sure you know which side is up and which side goes down. However, I called Synergy and got in touch with a tech in less than 15 seconds after I dialed. I gave him the part number and he knew right away that the side with the bevel goes down, and the flat side goes up. So for those of you installing this (or the vastly similar Rock Krawler) wedge, the bevel should be facing the ground and the flat side making contact with the coils.
I paired these wedges with a set of rear coil retainers due to the fact that coils can dislodge if they become uncompressed with wedges installed. Wedges reduce how much of the coil perch is exposed to the spring creating a potential danger without retainers.
Great inexpensive product to address some concerns with ride quality after lifting/stretching wheelbase. Only downside was there weren't any instructions included. Fortunately I have taken the rear end apart before so install was simple. Definitely recommend!
