King Off Road Racing Shocks Front 2.5" OEM Performance Series Shocks with Compression Adjustment Reviews
I bought these thinking they would be amazing. They do give the vehicle great stability and cornering. Like many others the valving for a direct OEM bolt on replacement is way to stiff even on the softest setting. I know king does a free revalue, not an option when you live on the other side of the world, plus it costs about $250 USD here for someone to do it, no I checked the pressure the front were at 200psi and the rear 90psi, lowering the pressure in the front helped a little. I am comparing these to the koni raid 90 shocks I had on my Land Rover defender. The koni Raid 90 unfortunatly are not available for Wrangler TJ's. The koni raid 90s are absolutely incredible and cheaper they were used by the support vehicles for the Dakar rally to give you some insight. If I had of known I would have gone to a koni shock of some sort. The kings are still good, just think with what you pay the valving would have been more appropriate.
