Teraflex Rear 4-6" Coil Springs Reviews
Installed rears after fronts were put in. I'm real happy with the end results. The installation was smooth on my 2010 JK 4D Unlimited (I struggled on the fronts due to having so much rust on fasteners). The instructions were straight forward/to the point, with good illustrations. Lifting up the rear end with a high lift jack then placing the Jeep on jack-stands helped. I then used a jack to lift/lower each side of the axle with the tires off. The old 4" lift springs pulled right out, but these new ones would not fit. I rented a set of coil spring compression tools from the auto parts store and compressed the new springs about 2" and they went in easily. Went from 20" clearance to 22" at the running boards. No bounce and I'm not bottoming out like I used to. Install time was 3.5 hours for me.
Rear coils are much larger in diameter then other coil springs. They would as intended but if I would have known this I’d went another direction.
