Description
The Detroit Truetrac was the first type limited slip differential in the industry. The patented design of parallel axis planetary helical gears provide a quiet, automatic splitting of torque. Power transfer goes literally unnoticed by the driver, even in front wheel drive axles! The Truetrac performs like an open differential under normal driving conditions and automatically transfers torque to the wheel with better traction when ground conditions warrant.

Set up was easy and works really well.

Leaves a lot of endplay in the axles, are there thicker spacers that are sold to eliminate this?
Questions
Billy F.
Will it fit '18 JLU with 3:73 gears?
Eaton does not yet offer a Truetrac differential for JL Dana 35 M200 AdvanTEK. Thanks for your inquiry.
GORDON R.
Can this be used to replace stock open carrier with stock axles on my 1989 YJ with Dana 35 . Will it accept 4.56 gears . Thank you
Yes, this application is correct for your Jeep's stock axles with an open diff. Be aware that 4.56 is not a direct fit ratio for your factory Dana 30 front Differential case if you had stock 3.73 or numerically lower gear ratio from factory. If you are unsure, we can try your vin number for confirmation at 800-745-6037. Thanks for your inquiry.

I have a 2002 Jeep tj se would this fit I believe it has a Dana 35 in the rear just wanna make sure this fits right in with out having to change out my stock front differential ratio ? Or messing anything up
If your original gear ratio is 3.21, you will need to change the from diff to one that can handle the carrier break of the higher gear ratios. https://www.quadratec.com/products/52410_10.htm. If you are not sure what ratio your Jeep has, call 800-745-5337 and we can check it for you. Thanks for your inquiry.
