Many states have laws that limit the maximum height of a lifted vehicle. Never exceed the legal height limit.
The performance specific internal components of Skyjacker's shocks respond to the on- and off-road conditions instantly. Whether you are going over rough or smooth terrain at slow or fast speeds, the true velocity sensitive valving produces a stable, controlled level of resistance for better handling, improved stability, and maximum comfort. The technological innovations of these durable, long lasting shocks from Skyjacker® deliver a noticeable advantage over the original equipment and other shock dampeners. Skyjacker's shock absorbers deliver a safe, comfortable ride with improved
handling and stability. They keep the tires in contact with the terrain and put you in control of the road ahead.
Skyjacker® Hydro and Nitro Shocks Skyjacker® Suspensions offers you a high quality shock absorber with true velocity sensitive valving. Shock absorbers, or spring dampers as it is called everywhere else except in the U.S., control the rate at which suspension springs compress and rebound. As the shock is pushed together, this is called bump or compression. As the shock expands, this is called rebound or extension. Absorbing the "shock" of bumps and suspension
loading is actually performed by the springs in the suspension. The shock's real job is controlling the energy stored in the springs.

Skyjacker 4" Sport Suspension Lift Kit with Hydro Shocks Reviews
As smooth as a full leaf spring vehicle can ride. Always been satisfied with skyjacker lift kits
This is nothing that Quadratec did wrong, SkyJacker just makes a terrible product. The instructions provided with this lift kit are horrible they barely explain how to properly install it. Being a DIYer probably much like the rest of the Jeep Community I was unable to figure out how to install this kit, the instructions were just that bad. Most of the photos showing or explaining how to install certain pieces are in black and white and look like they were taken with a potato for a camera. Even the online PDF instructions have black and white photos. Not to mention that the instructions are to high level and do not contain enough detail. It took me over a month with several calls back and forth with SkyJacker to figure out how properly install this lift kit. I highly recommend buying another brand lift kit instead of this one. It has been nothing but headaches. I will not be buying another SkyJacker product again.
