Smittybilt CRES HD - Cargo Restraint System Reviews
Do yourself a favor and buy this net vs the more expensive brands. I did not do a direct comparison of them, but the quality of this Smittybilt is top notch. Definitely feels like a premium product for the price. Best part is being able to easily unclip the cargo area if you need access to the cab for chair, groceries, etc. Just toss the instructions and wing it. Overall pretty self explanatory once you toss it on and tighten the straps. The only hiccup is tightening the side panels. Tricky getting the strap tight behind the rear doors without extra set of hands. It may ride up the back of the frame if you don't use the footman loop, but I did not install those and just manually push it down on the rare occasion it comes up a little. The rest of the net is pretty tight and we have no flapping or road noise at highway speeds. Hardtop goes on and off easy without having to take off the net. One of the best Jeep accessories we've bought!
not the hardest thing to install, but it did take some time. looks great and gets lots of compliments. keeps everything secure in the back when i run no roof or doors
Like others on the product site I will say that the instructions are terrible. Smittybilt - c'mon man - you're better than this. The verbiage is unclear, the pictures are illegible and it's just plain confusing. However, once you get this on and all snugged up - it's absolutely AWESOME. Smittybilt - are you listening? Your product is AWESOME - but your directions are terrible. If you are not mechanically inclined (which most jeepers are) then you should avoid this all together or have a friend help you that is mechanically inclined. So in the end - the product is AWESOME - it looks AWESOME - the instructions for installation are a disgrace. Smittybilt - get your act together on this product. Also - there is not obvious clip in a 2013 JK Sahara for the front straps on top to snap in to. But you can buy two small key rings at the hardware store - put them around the straps and clip the front two straps on the top. Actually looks like it belongs. Buy this product and take your time going side to side to get it straight and taught on the rollbar.
