WeatherTech All Weather Front Floor Mats Reviews
The fit is not as good as I usually see with weather tech but they will work.
While well constructed, these did not even come close to fitting my CJ-7.
The driver's side did not allow for the hump located outboard next to the seat mounting area, and so would not lie flat. It also had a cut-out around the accelerator pedal which left that part of the floor exposed so that any mud or debris coming off the driver's right foot/shoe would not be caught by the mat but would eventually wind up underneath the mat, defeating its entire purpose for existence.
On the passenger side, the mat was too long; it bumped up against the heater plenum box which meant it could not lie flat in the available floor space. Even if it had not been too long it would have had the same problem that the driver side did with the hump on the floor. Also, the passenger side mat had the accelerator pedal cut-out which should not be there for the passenger of a left-hand-drive vehicle in the USA.
In a couple of words: Totally Unacceptable. I'd rate them zero stars if that was an option.
The only reason I didn't return them is that before going through the hassle of returning a large and bulky item at my own expense, and paying the shipping for same, I decided to try them in my 1997 Chevy K1500. They actually do fit pretty well in the pickup, although the accelerator pedal issue still applies, so I'm going to keep them for use in that vehicle.
Which leaves me still needing floor mats for the CJ.
I will be buying another set, but they sure won't be from WeatherTech.
