Description

Factory Replacement: Genuine Mopar part is guaranteed to fit and complete the iconic Jeep Wrangler look. Must be painted or black primer will fade.

Details

The Mopar Primer Grille for JK Wranglers restores the iconic Jeep look when there has been damage or you are upgrading the look. This grille assembly is primer coated at the factory to shorten prep time prior to paint. Since it is only a primer coat, UV stabilizers have not been added and the black will fade quickly when exposed to the sun. It is intended to be painted the color of your choice and clear coated prior to installation. New installation hardware will be needed when putting this on and the Jeep nameplate can be purchased in black or chrome to finish the look you are going for.

Questions

What are the little metal clips that you push into the fram called? Most of mine are rusted
Mopar Grilles use qty 6 clips identified with part number 06031940 and qty 1 spring clip part number 68351981AA but these are not fasteners that we have sourcing for at this time. Sorry for the inconvenience.
If painting black, which paint do you recommend?
The Black should be PX8. You can find that here as option #3: https://www.quadratec.com/mopar/jeep-touch-up-spray-paint-can
could I use as a replacement on a 16 Sahara JK?
You sure can, but this has little to no UV stabilizer in it. If you leave it uncoated it will fade over time. It is intended to be painted.
