Wilwood Forged Narrow Superlite 4R Front Big Brake Kit with Drilled Rotors for 07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK with 18" Wheels
A minimum of a 18 wheel must be used with this kit. Stainless steel braided flexline hose kit, part number 12710.0901 is required, but not included with the kit and must be ordered separately.
Wilwood Engineering has recently introduced a new Jeep JK big brake kit for the 2007 to present Wrangler JK Jeep. This entirely new kit features the latest in disc brake technology and includes Wilwood's Forged Billet Superlite 4-piston calipers (BNSL4R) in black powder coat clamping down on oversized 14.00 x 1.25 GT asymmetrical face slot pattern rotors.
The kit (part number 140-12440) comes with aluminum hats, caliper mounting brackets and all necessary hardware for an easy, bolt-on installation. Optional SRP drilled and slotted rotors are also available. Wilwood BP-10 high performance street pads round out the kit. Other brake pad compounds, including those for off-road applications, are also available.
The all new Jeep JK brake upgrade kit is configured for high performance street or off-road environments and is compatible with the original equipment master cylinder and ABS system. Stainless steel braided flexline hose kit, part number 220-11237 is necessary, but not included with the kit and must be ordered separately.

Quality, Fit & Finish are Excellent! All items, fasteners, etc. are included and nothing was missing. One thing I did not like is the fact that I did not know this item would be drop shipped from Wilwood. Quadratec, on line, said nothing about not carrying this item in stock until I placed the order and that it could take several weeks to receive (I would not have placed the order if I knew it was not carried in stock). BUT, all Items received (dropped shipped from Wilwood) within 7 days of placing order with Quadratec. Completely happy with the time frame from order to receiving. I also ordered the "required" 22" S.S. Brake Line (Wilwood 220-11237) $59.95 and found out it was not long enough (my JK has 3" lift and needs 28" min. Front Brake Lines). Found this out when stock brakes were removed and Wilwoods were installed. Made no mention when ordering this item that it fits stock JKs and I did not measure my brake line before ordering. "Assumed" Big Brake Kit for a JK would be for a "Slightly lifted Jeep. I had to locate a set of 28" Braided S.S. front brake lines and get overnight/Saturday shipping (brake lines $34.00, Shipping $54.00)!
I am very pleased with the product (More expensive than BAER Brakes but half the cost of BREMBOs). I would use again and would recommend Wilwood in the future. Ordering from Quadratec was a great experience!
