Mountain Off-Road Evap Skid Plate Reviews
This is an incredibly sturdy, overbuilt skid plate. It looks great (not that it will matter for very long) and makes it easy to access your fuel vapor canister if you ever need to. Spend the money, get this one, it is what you need.
BUT I wanted to put some information out there to help people who are putting on evap skids or relocating their evaps:
You WILL break those stupid clips holding the vapor lines to the evap canister. You will, just deal with it, they are going to break. I initially rigged a fix using some zip ties because 60 bucks for new hoses was not happening.
I found the exact clips at Napa and they are cheap. They are:
#730-7381 (5/8" Fuel Retainer Clip)
#730-6676 (3/8" Fuel Retainer Clip)
Buy them now, have them ready when you remove the old ones so you don't cuss up a storm like I did when you break the original ones!
(note - maybe Quadratech could carry these and add them as suggested parts for evap skids and relocates, hint hint)
