This bumper is EXACTLY what a Jeep front bumper should be - keeping the accessories conveniently tucked away, e.g. the winch and the accessory lights, with pre-drilled options for easy add-on of their arched bar for lights in the future. No winch blocking the front grill nor impeding air flow through the radiator. I installed this by myself and had no issues what-so-ever!
The bumper is poorly designed for the installation of a wench on my 2013 Jeep Wrangler! The installation instructions for the bumper state that one should install the wench prior to installing the bumper on the vehicle. If one were to follow this instruction the rear bolt heads of the wench prevent installation due to interference with a cross member on the vehicle. Due to this cross member on the vehicle, one cannot install the rear bolts on a wench. The cross member must be modified to install the rear bolts of the wench. One must either drill holes through the cross member so the bolts can be installed from the bottom or cut a section out of the side of the cross member to enable rear bolt installation.
