Removal of the Freedom panels and hardtop does not require any adjustments to the rack system. The Freedom panels can be lifted up and slid out from under the rack with little effort, while the main hard top is easily slid out from under the rack to the rear of the vehicle. The Warrior Products Hard Top Quick Release Kit (Part #2950/13122.1000) allows for an, easy, quick and tool-free installation/removal of your factory hard top.
The front and rear basket ends are also removable, allowing the rack to handle significantly longer loads than a standard roof rack.
The Renegade Roof Rack by Warrior Products is constructed using 1 ¼ round steel tubing and 1 square steel tubing, for a capacity of 650 pounds on the highway and 350 pounds on the trail, when evenly distributed. The 1 square cross bars also make a great platform for a wide range of aftermarket accessories, from the Warrior Products Spare Tire Mount to a Rooftop Tent to a Canoe/Kayak Mounts, Bike Mounts, Snowboard Mounts (and just about anything in between).
The rack is completely bolt-on, installs using common hand tools, requires no cutting or drilling and does not require you modify the body of the vehicle in any way. This project is easily completed in a few hours by the average do-it-yourselfer.
The lightly textured powder coat finish provides a clean look and protection from the elements so you can enjoy your Renegade Rack for years to come.
Warrior Products has also released a number of accessories to compliment the Renegade Roof Rack System, including:

Warrior Products Renegade Rack Reviews
This rack looks awesome and works as advertised! ***Buy the 888 Front Air Dam with this rack*** The noise from the rack is a lot and the air dam cuts it down dramatically. This was relatively straight forward to install but it did take me more than 3 hours. Take your time threading any nuts on as I cross-thread 2 of them and had to redo one broken bolt. All of the welds look great and everything went together well.
First I'll say, I like the rack. It's convenient for the kayaks and whatever else we want to load. I've had the rack about a year now and the "powder coat" is failing all over. It's mostly around the welds. Which are great welds! I'll have to remove it and paint it. The installation was pretty easy, took a couple hours. If your are running a soft top you'll have to disconnect the front and lift the rack to flip the to back. The freedom tops are the same on the hard to. They can't be removed or installed without flipping the rack up. For that reason I replaced the front bolts with a few quick pins. It is pretty noisy, so I bought the air dam. Unfortunately it only changed the sound from a high whistle to a low loud rumble. I think a plastic wind deflector might fix that. The lines are awesome, only rack I found that slants with the roll bars. Looks less boxy. The rubber bumps on the quarter panels are starting to rub the paint off so I suggest some anti chaffing of some sort. Overall I like the rack, mostly for the kayaks and camping gear and the look. The impact on the vehicle is a little too much. And to top is a little annoying.
