it worked, but it had an extra plastic push pin in the middle, my hard top only has one, so I just removed the extra one.

Where exactly is this installed? The front seal where the freedom panels meet the windshield?
This mounts on the on the front of the back portion of a factory hardtop and sits under the back ends of the freedom panels. A seal above the windshield frame would be a header opening seal. Thanks for your inquiry.
