Bestop Sailcloth Replace-a-top Soft Top with Half Door Skins Reviews
I am very pleased with my new top. The installation wasn't difficult, and the fit is nice and tight. The zippers all function as expected and after two heavy rains... I think it's safe to say that it's keeping the elements out - as I haven't found any water in the tube nor soggy seats. It also kept the rain out while driving in heavy rains. The top looks great on my Jeep and the windows are so clear that it's hard to tell they are even there. The top is fairly quiet going down the highway with the door uppers on, and without the door uppers - definitely quieter than my factory top was.
I've only had this new soft top on my Jeep for a week and a half, so time will tell if the top will last the endurance test of weathering the sun and winter, wheeling and moving from top up and top down positions.
Everything that I expected. Only problem is water colects on top in the rain. Need to drive before taking top down.
I am not satisfied with this soft top. I’ve had it for 3 years and tried giving it a chance. If it’s below 60 degrees, it gets so stiff it’s difficult to roll up and remove. If the rear window is rolled up for more than 24 hours, the plastic gets curled and makes it very hard to uncurl. I’ve also had to replace the zipper pulls several times because they pull off. All the windows are already faded. I bought this top because it was highly rated in other reviews, so maybe I just got a slightly defective one. I am disappointed with its performance. I want to put my old top back on my 2000 wrangler. Pictures attached.
