WARN XD9i Multi-Mount Winch Reviews
I’ve had this Warn winch on my TJ for 4 years. It’s worked flawlessly every time I’ve needed it. It sits on the front of my Jeep with no cover and is in the weather 365 days a year. I have all the confidence in the world that it’s tough enough to handle it with its sealed solenoid and motor. The 125’ cable is great to have. If I’m within 100’ of a tree, I’ll try anything with confidence that I’m not actually going to be hung up. It’s hooked up to the Jeep’s battery with Warn quick disconnects in the middle so that’s it is not powered when it’s not in use.
The package is worth having in my opinion. I’ve taken the winch off of the winch plate of the TJ and put it in the Warn cradle and then mounted the winch cradle to the back of my Chevy Z71 and Toyota Sequoia on their 2” trailer receivers . I have the jumper cable leads that hook into the Warn disconnects. I don’t have to have any special battery terminals on those vehicles to power it.
This is an insanely expensive winch package but I essentially have a winch for my Jeep and the two other 4WD vehicles that are in my driveway. You can’t beat that value.
