WARN Rotopax Mounting Bracket Reviews
This listing really needs to be updated with some more information. While I’m glad I purchased this bracket for my Warn Elite bumper, I didn’t realize the largest size of gas can I could use with it is the 2 gallon. I purchased a 3 gallon Rotopax and it will not work with this bracket. This information should be in the product description.
The second issue is the bracket will not work with the hardware provided with the actual Rotopax mount. As you can see in the photo, the bolts have a squared end under the cap. The bracket from Rotopax has square holes so the bolts won’t spin while tightening. The issue with the Warn bracket is that it has round holes. The Rotopax bracket is thinner than the squared portion of the bolts so you cannot get the brackets flush. The simple fix is going to Lowe’s or your local hardware store and buying some non-squared bolts. I’m a little disappointed that Warn couldn’t have taken 10 seconds to google the design of the Rotopax mount and just stamp squared holes in their bracket. Oh well, I got it to work and it looks good.
