Teraflex Extreme Heavy Duty Drag Link Kit Reviews
Great investment to replace the original drag link on my 2009 Wrangler JK. I removed the 4" drop pitman arm that came with my 3.5" lift kit and re-installed the stock pitman, then installed this Teraflex Heavy Duty Drag Link. After a front-end alignment, the steering is much better with a lot less play and wandering.
Great piece of hardware. I bent my OEM Drag Link and researched this on the Quadratec site and ordered it. Came in a day early. Compared to OEM this is very heavy duty. Installation was easy except for tightening down the ball joints (this part's not in the instructions). Things must have changed since I last installed any type of ball joint (well over 30 years) but you must use a pry bar to push up on the ball joint while you tighten the nut. Once it finally seats crank away. That's my only issue - Note to Teraflex: please mention this in the instructions. I am exceedingly pleased with this purchase, both with Quadratec and Teraflex. My only regret is not getting the tie rod and drag link kit and replacing both.
Install went well. Completed in about an hour. It has a nice finish and it’s really beefy. I was getting some wobble so I replaced the drag link and the track bar with Teraflex HD products. Seems to help so far. If I get any more wobble I will change the upper and lower ball joints next, but so far so good.
