Synergy Manufacturing Hi-Mount Stabilizer Relocation Kit Reviews
Bought and installed this kit several years ago and I can report that it is still holding up and has been a great product!
I got this kit to install with the Synergy HD Tie Rod, to complete my high steer kit. It made my steering rock solid. It is literally hard to explain the difference it made. I previously had the stock TR and a dual stabilizer from a cheap manufacturer with the Synergy drag link flip and track bar bracket. This polished it all off and now my steering is tight and solid! Couldn’t be more happy with this purchase.
Great in the end, but more of a pain to install than it should have been. First, as far as I could tell jeep makes you bend off the old bracket so you are committed to finishing once you start. The bolt clearances associated with the black bracket are very tight. I found I could completely unbolt and move out of the way the swaybar this bracket shares a bolt with, which helped. I needed a extra thin wrench to hold the smaller nut at the pointed end of the triangle shape.
The next challenge was the shock...it took a lot of force to compress and was not neutral...it slowly extended back to full length in about 10 or so seconds. So, I had to stand and compress with most of my weight and then measure half way to determine where to bolt the silver clamp...easy enough to install that bracket. Then, you have to pre-insert the large brass bolt washers into the shock, compress the shock, and then in 10 seconds or less drop, roll under the jeep (i did this with no lift) thread the brass bolt a few turns and then guide the other end into the black bracket before the shock extends too far. Again, it took most of my weight to compress this thing so there is no way my arms were strong enough to compress the shock if i didn't work quick enough. Took me five attempts to successfully mount the shock. Once you're done...nice and clean, up and out of the way.
Great build quality, but the install was harder than it had to be. I would have never guessed the shock would not be neutral like the stock original.
