Skyjacker Front Sway Bar Disconnects Reviews
I've had mine on since March 2020 and have not had any major issues. I had to replace one of the cotter pins, but that's no big deal. Took one off from the other side, went into my local hardware store and spent $5 for 6 more. Very easy to disconnect and reconnect. I would highly recommend these to someone with a 2" lift that doesnt want to drill to unstall the more expensive brands.
You get what you pay for. They disconnect, but make a lot of "clinking" noise due to both "heads" fitting slightly loosely on the shaft, as well as the retaining pins. Perhaps one could simply put tape on the retaining pin retainers, but those also will bend and pull off of the retaining pins themselves.
Crush sleeves are provided, but only one of mine actually had any "crush" to it after I applied the recommended torque. Sadly a few months later and the bushing has somehow gone missing from that very "head." I have reached out to Skyjacker to see if I can get a replacement "head" for the disconnect and associated hardware. I will update this review once I get that sorted out, but at this point I am not impressed.
Another note: keep it lubed otherwise the retaining pins can be very stubborn to remove.
