Rust Buster RB9904 Polyurethane Shackle Bushing Kit for 46-75 Jeep CJ Series

I believe these bushings are sized for the OMIX - Ada 18270.04 rear shackle bracket and if these is a front bracket as well , I cannot confirm that .
I will say that these bushings are not sized for the original shackle brackets which are similar to the afore mentioned OMIX Ada brackets but possibly a different bushing size . I will say though that my 1973 CJ5 shackle brackets have smaller sized holes to install bushings into and will not accept the silent block bushings that the leaf springs will .
I haven’t decided if I will replace the original shackle brackets with the OMIX Ada brackets since the rear brackets are a bit compromised on the bracket face due to corrosion . If I do , I hope these bushings will fit . I will say that it seems that larger sized through bolts are expected to be used than the original size . There are OEM style shackle kits that are closest to original with the same size through bolt that would be too small in diameter . At the minimum , there should be a sleeve included , I would think . It does clearly state however that these bushing are for ‘76 and on and does not state for use on the intermediate year CJ . I cannot locate the replacement size upper shackle bushing at the size I need but may just replace the shackle bracket so problem likely to be solved anyway . But if you wish to retain and are able to your OEM shackle brackets , these bushings are not sized for the intermediate ( 1972 - 75 ) shackle brackets .
