Rugged Ridge 11101.01 Stainless Steel Hood Kit for 78-95 Jeep CJ & Wrangler YJ

Don't recommend. Hood latches look good and seem to work as they should. The hood vent looks good fits well but the screws provided don't match the taper on the plate so they don't rest flat and look awful. I just used regular stainless philips screws to give a better look and matches the hood hinges. The hinges look and fit good but are very flimsy. Don't act like they'll be durable. The windshield tie downs are a joke. It's nothing but a threaded rod with some rubber tubing on it with a square bend and the bend wasn't right. I had to bend it more to make it fit. The original tie downs had a flange to mount it. These either rely on the washer which will go over the rubber tubing or the tubing to secure it top side. Looked terrible so I just painted my old ones and reused those. Save your money and order the parts that are good separately.

This product/part is NOT OEM QUALITY!!! Some of the hood parts are not produced as the original oem specs and are not worth the time to install them. Example: the original window hold down parts have a built-in flange that is designed to keep the part secure to the hood. The part in this product/part uses washers to do this and the part does not work; because the washers pushes against the plastic sleeve and distorts it to the point of not being adequately secure to the hood. I do not recommend this product. Also, a critical part was missing from the kit to hold down the hood with the hood latch dogs.
