Description
Eclipse Sun Shade by Rugged Ridge is a mesh shade that installs in between the front portion of a JK sport bar providing an open air experience while protecting passengers from the sun. Works with soft tops & hard tops while allowing access to the top clamps without uninstalling the shade. Installs quickly and easily with a simple bungee ball installation and it comes with a small mesh carrying bag for storage when not in use.

I really like this sun shade for when I will only be taking off my Freedom Panels. I keep my full sunshade on for summer. When I go back to school and have to put my top back on, I use this front only shade for late Summer through late Spring. The bungee cords have survived better than my full sunshade and I like that they are attached to the Rugged Ridge Shade.

In step 3 of the installation instructions, it says you should NOT wrap the cords around the bare roll bar…I don’t have padding on my roll bars. What is the reasoning behind this? I’d like to buy this but don’t want to if attaching it to bare roll bars would be an issue. Just curious…and if the bare roll bars are an issue is there another product similar to this that I could get? Thanks for your time.
It states to not also go around the door surround channel. Going around the roll bar is fine and the covers do not need to be in place. The cord should not be wrapped around the door surround channel that is right adjacent to the roll bars. Thanks for your inquiry.
