Rough Country Rear CV Drive Shaft Reviews
The quality of this driveshaft is great. If you have a lift higher then 4", I would highly recommend you go with a different company for a DS. I recently put on the Rough Country 6" X-Factor lift and purchased both the front and rear DS to go with the lift. When I installed the rear DS there was 2" of the blue spline showing. I called Rough Country and they stated that it was fine. When driving I got a bad vibration at 50 mph. I brought my Jeep to a shop that specializes in drivelines and they told me my driveshaft was to short. When I called rough country back they told me that is the only size DS they sell for that lift and if I wanted I could send the DS back for a full refund. Well, one size does not fit all. The shop said they would fix the problem and extend the DS 3" so that it would be good to go. I got it back and reinstalled the rear DS and...no more driveline vibration.
