They are fully adjustable, and can be set up to the optimal height for your lift.
Installation Note: Does NOT fit JL Wrangler or JT Gladiator with Front Vertex Reservoir Shocks
Hydraulic Bump Stops: The Rough Country Threaded Hydraulic Bump Stops use an Internal Floating Piston (IFP) design to control the last 3-inches of suspension travel. Not only will they provide a smoother off-road ride, but they also reduce unnecessary wear and tear on you Jeep’s suspension and driveline.
For Lifted Jeeps: Rough Country designed their Threaded Hydraulic Bump Stops for use with JK & JL Wranglers and JT Gladiators. Their threaded housing allows them to be adjusted for optimum performance. Correctly set bump stops will keep your suspension from bottoming out under full articulation.
Heavy-Duty Constructions: For strength and longevity, Rough Country makes their Threaded Hydraulic Bump Stop housings out of carburized alloy. These bump stops are fully serviceable and rebuildable.

Rough Country Threaded Hydraulic Bump Stops Reviews
Just finished installing these. So no impressions yet on handling. But a few tips and considerations. First, unlike similar products the RC doesn’t have a locking ring on upper or lower collars. Second, the fitment is a little loose between the ID of the frame and OD of RC bump stop. Time will tell if these will be an issue.
Notes on install. Plenty of vids on this. Not too difficult. I was able to get enough droop to pull springs with unbolting shocks and sway bar only. Likely due to the RockKrawler arms. The RC instructions say cut off 3”. That may be ok for a JL or JT but seemed too much for a JK so I cut 2” off. That measured out appropriate and I feel will improve the leverage of the lock rings. The first side I had a lot of difficulty getting the upper end of the RK coils to pass around the lower lock ring once it was in place. I had to loosen the ring and run it to the bottom of the threads to get enough angle on the coil to slip it on. The other side I placed the RC bump stop in the coil then tie strapped the axle bump stop to the coil to hold it all in place. Then reinstall the coil, install the lower and upper bump stop. The RC bump stop has two holes that fits an angle grinder lock wrench perfectly as a backup wrench. Use a 12” Locknut Wrench to tighten the collar.
All in all moderate install and the stops look great. Spend some time cycling the suspension w/o coils to setup.
