Rough Country Front Upper & Lower Adjustable Control Arm Kit Reviews
These are nice and Beefy! I have a 2001 Wrangler so my original control arms have been on there for 22 years! I used PB Blaster like crazy and soaked the crap out of the bolts.
Bought 3 or so years ago, literally never took my XJ offroad once while these were installed. Now my upper control arms have failed for no apparent reason. Specifically the flex joints used on the uppers seems to be absolute trash. I really don't understand how Rough Country and Quadratec can market these as heavy duty or offroad ready when they failed on me from simply street driving. Tried to contact Rough Country to find some sort of solution or maybe allow me to purchase replacement flex joint ends, but I have had no luck getting them to even respond to my emails. I HIGHLY advise you look elsewhere and purchase a better brand. Cheaper ain't always better.
Seem beefy and like they are good quality. Install went well. Spherical joints went bad after about 6 months. Then my TJ is all over the road. Broken pavement causes violent axle travel. Replaced with stock arms, and amazed just how terrible these arms were! Avoid! If you want adjustable arms with spherical joints, spend the money and get JKS or Curry. Otherwise, you'll spend it twice and be dissatisfied like me.
