Heavy-Duty Construction: Rough Country makes their differential skid plates from durable 1/4in steel plate.
Differential Protection: The Rough Country Front Differential Skid Plate is designed to protect your axle from off-road obstacles. It will allow your front differential to slide over rocks without damage.
Bolt-On Installation: For ease of install, the Rough Country Front Differential Skid Plate mounts to Jeep Wrangler JKs without cutting, drilling, or other modification. This plate uses the factory differential cover mounting holes and a u-bolt to secure it to the axle housing.

Rough Country Front Differential Skid Plate Reviews
Do not purchase. Nuts for the ubolt were the wrong size. The holes are not large enough to fit a socket threw them. Took a lot of work from enlarging the holes, going to store to get the correct nuts, etc. Good concept that has been poorly built.
I am a drivetrain technician by trade and look at fitment and design. Also installation time and appearance. This skid plate is a good design but does not fit very good. I think when they weld them, the metal peices move some and it ends up not fitting as designed to.
