Rough Country 50in LED Light Bar Kit with Windshield Mounts Reviews
When selecting a light bar mount, light bar placement is crucial to prevent wind noise or whistling. I purchased this mount and their 50in light bar with white DRL thinking "being a cheaper option mount/bar i will generate a TON of noise". Well i was wrong. Ive done a lot of driving recently with this mount and bar attached and have had 0 noise what so ever. Ive tried with the top on, top off, and the top folded back as well. Ive gotten my 2dr up to 80MPH trying to achieve some type of wind noise and I got NOTHING. This is a solid set up, ESPECIALLY for the price. I couldnt be happier with this kit, and especially with the light bar. Super bright, durable material, and a fraction of the cost. Plus, 43000 raw lumens is insane. I highly suggest going with this kit as the light bar (which ever you choose to go with), is placed just below the roof line and it looks really good added with a great aggressive texture. Go buy this mount!!
installed easily. does whistle a lot but I expected that as I haven't heard a bar that doesn't to some extent and I spend most of my time with the top removed and wind noise is just part of it. very well built except the plug size can be pretty tough to get thru the firewall grommet.
Horrible Brackets the light bar is fantastic the brackets rusted over the powder coat and flaked off with in 2 years
