Rough Country 64270 3.25in Suspension and Spacer Lift Kit with V2 Monotube Shocks for 97-02 Jeep Wrangler TJ with 6 Cylinder Engine
Many states have laws that limit the maximum height of a lifted vehicle. Never exceed the legal height limit.
Tuned Coil Springs: Rough Country tunes the coil springs in their 3.25in Suspension and Spacer Lift Kit to accommodate the weight of the Jeep TJ engine options. Not only do the springs lift the Jeep, but they also level out the factory rake.
Combination Lift: Rough Country uses a combination of lifted coil springs and 3/4" coil spacers for their 3.25in Suspension and Spacer Lift Kit. This lift will allow you to fit 33x12.50 tires on your Jeep Wrangler TJ. You will also need 3.75” of backspacing to clear suspension components.
N3 Shocks: This kit includes Rough Country’s premium N3 Shocks. N3 shocks provide smooth performance with nitrogen-charged 10-stage variable valving. They are designed to provide a comfortable on-road ride, while improving off-road damping.

Rough Country 3.25in Suspension and Spacer Lift Kit Reviews
I recently updated the suspension on my 04 lj and wanted a kit that has good road manners, can fit 33’s, is budget friendly and is good quality. This kit nailed it! It definitely took longer to install then suggested but that’s because of the rusted O.E hardware and a few snapped bolts. Everything needed was included. It looks great, drives great and is just what I was looking for.
Takes longer than they recommend, but partly cause the jeep is old, and the directions are a little vague but love it so far.
I have Installed lifts on two other Jeep’s, I installed this kit recently and was not happy with it at all. There was only one set of hardware for the front shock mounts and the final result after installation was a major forward rake still on the Jeep. Yes I ordered the correct kit for the 4.0 and yes it was installed correctly. These kits should recommend or even include adjustable track bars as well as a drop pitman arm. These manufacturers surely understand that these kids are being installed on 20 year old jeeps with existing rusted hardware, why not include new hardware for everything? Plan to spend more money if you buy this kit. There were also No decals for the shocks, not a big deal there but would be nice to have them. If I had to do again (and I will on my next TJ). I’ll be going elsewhere for my next lift kit.
