While I actually have an 86 MJ and an 00 XJ this is for my 2001 Mazda Miata as I could not find a good locking anti rattle hitch pin to secure the 1 1/4" to 2" receiver adapter to ensure that when I use my bike rack does not rattle or get stolen.
I will be using a bolt and anti-rotation shim similar to that of the Curt Hitches anti rattle pin product #22315. If Quadratec created a SKU of this same locking hitch pin with a simple nut and that shim you could easily sell this to anyone with a hollow shank hitch that needs anti-rattle and security measures.

Will the anti-rattle locking hitch pin secure a hitch extender to the jeep hitch receiver is does it only work on the bike carrier?
They are designed for and have only been tested for use with Quadratec Bike Rack Models 92034.1000, 92034.1001 & 92034.1008. Thanks for your inquiry.
