Painless Wiring Trail Rocker Accessory Control System Reviews
This kit made installation fairly easy, but there are some areas for improvement. Minor components like termination caps were missing from the parts kit. One of the Adel clamps was the wrong size. The connector for the switch wiring was too big to fit through the hole in the firewall, so I had to tediously remove all the pins from the connector and reassemble once I'd gotten the wires through. It would have been a lot easier if it had just come disassembled to begin with or if they had used a slimmer plug. Likewise, the supplied replacement grommet was too big for the opening and didn't seem to account for the extra space needed for the rear washer fluid tubing. As a result, I had to cut the OEM grommet to make everything fit and just use lots of silicone adhesive sealant to hold it in place. I don't know if that's the result of a difference between the hole sizes based on automatic or manual transmission or if there's a difference across model years, but it was problematic with my 2015 w/ manual transmission.
