Overland Vehicle Systems Snatch Blocks Reviews
Awesome price and piece of equipment!
I just received the standard one, and I have the the HD one backordered. It seems sturdy and high quality for a Chinese mfrd item. One thing to note....that idea to place a zerk fitting on it so you can grease it is a nifty, but they didn't do their homework when they designed it. The zerk sits in a pocket which will protect it (good), but the pocket is so narrow that a standard grease gun nozzle head will not fit into the pocket and you can't reach the zerc (bad). Good idea, poorly executed. If you have external snap ring pliers, you can disassemble it easily and grease in with your finger. Easy reassembly.
Same issue as the other review--zerk fitting in a recess too small for any grease coupler. I run heavy equipment and have access to lots of different couplers--as do my oilers/mechanics. None of us could come up with a means to grease the thing using the zerk. This day in age, a design flaw like that is not acceptable--not with CAD designs etc. The only reason its not getting a single star is the block itself isn't bad quality for what its intended for.
