Leaking pumps can cause loss of pressure and power, which is not great when it is your steering. The Omix Power Steering Pump and Reservoir for select 6-cylinder Jeep Cherokees, is a direct replacement that will save you time and money over having to rebuild. Can use original pulley or new pulleys are available separately.

Hot garbage, this is NOT the correct pump for an XJ and required threads to be drilled out to fit (after breaking off a bolt in the pump). It also appears to be leaking between the pump and reservoir.
