The Omix Harmonic Balancer for the Jeep engine is a direct fit replacement that installs with ease using original key and hex bolt. This grooved pulley is secured to the crankshaft and is engineered to dampen engine vibration through the tenuous rubber layer between the inner and outer ring. Over time the OE balancer can become brittle and even separate causing complete failure of on board accessories to respond as well as allow damage to occur inside the engine.
