Mopar Window Storage Bag Reviews
WORKS
GOOD: The bag is made of strong, durable, weatherproof materials. It's cheaper than purchasing from the Mopar site. The zippers feel rugged and the handles are stitched well to the bag without feeling like they will tear. The instruction for proper use is clearly diagrammed on the contoured corner panel cavity.
BAD: Unlike the JL Unlimited's bag, this bag is not designed to hang off the rear seats. There's no room in the Gladiator for this. The bag instead has a large-diameter padded dowel down the center with stitched handles on each side edge. You're supposed to store the soft top corners at each end of the bag, like a JL's, in their contoured spots and then place the rear window in the center so that the padded dowel bisects the window vertically. You zip everything up and fold it in half along that large padded internal dowel. The two handles meet and you can store it anywhere inside or outside of the vehicle you'd like. My concern is this will stretch and warp the window across that dowel over time and deform it.
Rather than fold it like it says to, I think I'm going to devise a way to secure it behind the front seats like a JL's secures to the backseats, or devise a way to store it on back wall of the truck bed or on the inside of the tailgate.
