Mopar Heavy Duty Front Coil Spring Reviews
Wish these came standard on the JKU Sport.
Needed to replace one of my front springs, had the Sahara springs, used these Rubicon ones and got a bit of lift from them-- enough to get rid of most of my forward rake. Did it in the driveway with hand tools, only had to disconnect the track bar (125 ft-lbs), bottom bolts on sway bar links (75 ft-lbs), and the 2 brake line mounting points. PB Blast those bolts a couple days in advance. TerraFlex 2.5" lift gives great instructions. Jack the Jeep up high on those jack stands, you'll need full droop plus some to get the springs off and on (also have to disconnect the shocks, but I replaced those at the same time so they were already off). Also needed a friend to step on either side for that extra little bit of room to get the spring off. Recommend spending the $25 bucks and replace bump stops at the same time.
