Mopar Automatic Transmission Gearshift Head Reviews
This gearshift head doesn't work on my 2005 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. This won't release the park lock so the transmission isn't able to go into gear forward or reverse.
Does not work for 97 TJ automatic, maybe I received a faulty handle but it does not allow the transmission to shift. I believe it doesn't push the plastic stem down far enough. When comparing the two the OEM shifter has a plastic piece that pushes the stem down further than this Mopar one. The previous owner broke the plastic clip on the OEM one so the shift knob is easily removable but still functions perfectly, I was hoping this one would work.
