The Door Surround with Tailgate Bar Kit from MasterTop is the perfect upgrade for your TJ or LJ Wrangler when removing your hardtop. This easy to install Door surround and Tailgate bar kit provide a great mounting point for summer accessories such as Bimini-Tops and Tonneau covers. The original equipment door surround design creates a door closing surface helping to better seal the vehicle compartment. The included Tailgate bar attaches your top or Tonneau cover to the rear of the vehicle providing a secure snug fit. For MasterTwill Wind Stopper Plus and ultimate Summer Combos, this kit is required for the installation if you are removing a hardtop. Easy to assemble, this kit is a must for your summer driving enjoyment!

Door Surrounds: Passenger & Drive side door surrounds for the front and rear of the Wrangler TJ or Unlimited LJ keep the original door surround design, which creates the perfect door closing surface that ensures the best seal for the front cab area.
Tailgate Bar: The tailgate bar kit is required for hardtop equipped vehicles that wish to run a Tonneau cover over the rear cargo area. Included are the tailgate bar, and the required clips that install to factory locations with no drilling or modifications required.

I can now use my extended top that I purchased before I knew about sealing the gap up with the connection to a door surround.

Items appear to be well made and generally fit well. Driver's side was tough to align with existing mounting holes but eventually it worked.

Overall this is a good product but there seems to be a defect in the passenger side front hole and bracket. The bolt will not thread into the bottom, even with it off the jeep. Not a Quadratec issue, more a design flaw.
