HyLine OffRoad Louvered Hood Panel Reviews
Looks so good on the Jeep! I like that the mounting screws are built into the panel so nothing is exposed to the elements. Very clean. Followed the instructions and the install went without a hitch. It was time consuming cutting up the old hood, but beauty takes time ;)
I like the clean look of this louver and the directions were very helpful. I do have one complaint in that it is a flat piece of aluminum that bolts down to the hood that has a slight curve to it and when it’s fastened down it makes a couple waves in the hood. I tried to open up the holes a bit to relieve the stress of the hood but it did not help. Im also a little disappointed that it did not take much to damage the threads on the studs and had one of them come out durning the fitment process. I’m not too concerned as I am happy with how it works and it does help vent the engine bay. Pay attention the warning about not tightening the nuts too tight when you install it. It doesn’t take much at all.
