I misread this and was expecting it to have the vent cover attached, not just a hole in the middle for it. The seal around my vent came apart when removing the vent to rerun 3rd brake light wiring and I got this to replace the whole unit. I still have the vent, but without the seal there is a gap between this plate and the vent cover. So this doesn't help my need and I'm returning it and looking at the JCR option that includes the vent cover.
