Energy Suspension Rear Track Bar Bushings Reviews
Better Road/Trail feel through vehicle.
Installed these in a 2006 TJ (along with the front) hoping to solve steering instability.
Getting the rear track bar out was quite easy, with the wheels off and on jack stands. Getting the old bushings out was nearly impossible. With some PB blaster and a ball joint press, the bushings eventually came out, except for the outermost metal sleeve. It was rusted on very tightly and I didn't have anything good to push with that was smaller than the track bolt eye but also as large as the sleeve. Eventually was able to cut it out with a small hack saw and the blade placed through the center. Should've thought of that sooner.
Fortunately the new inner sleeves fit the existing bolts and reinstallation of the track bar was easy. Total time was probably 5 hours, with most of that wasted trying to get all of the old bushings out.
