Description
This Diode Dynamics RGBW Halo kit has been designed specifically for the Wrangler JL and Gladiator JT Headlights. It includes custom-sized halo rings that will give you full multicolor functionality over your DRLs. These HD LED halo rings are not just RGB, they are RGBW! That means there is an extra LED chip that is specifically white in color, right next to the standard red, green, and blue LEDs. By using an RGBW controller, you can activate and control the white chip independently of the colors. This provides a much more uniform, pure, and bright white color than the traditional method of combining all RGB signals so you can keep a clean, factory white appearance for everyday driving. These halos have been designed to be absolutely the brightest, most reliable halos on the market.They will add a distinct, unique look to your Jeep both day and night!
Note: An RGBW Controller is required for operation (not included, sold separately, see below).

If the RGBW controller it is required why not sell them together? Do both headlights run off one controller? It says 1 channel.
Diode Dynamics only offers it as a separate kit, unfortunately. One kit will control the pair of headlights. Thanks for your inquiry.

If I get the Diode Dynamics DD2290 RGBW HD LED Halos for 18-21 Jeep Wrangler JL, do I have to but the controller for it to work or is that just for changing the colors?
In Colorado you can only have white or Amber halos.
The controller is required even for the white halo function.

Are these 7 inch or 9 inch LED headlights?
These are 185mm. This product was fitted for Jeeps that have the LED package with the factory halos and LED headlights.
