Daystar GMRS Radio with Upper Windshield Mount, and Switches Reviews
Really easy to install. The only trouble was running the wires thru the firewall(beacuse of the fuse holder). No big deal just cut the wires and spliced them back together. I wish the antenna cable was a little longer, bit no big deal. It comes with detailed instructions and plenty of hardware. The bracket for the antenna doesn't work with the Fab Fours ViCowl. No bid deal just made my own.
I bought this unit in the hope to get my GMRS unit up and out of the way. While this may have accomplished this for other JK models, it did not work for my 2016 Jeep Rubicon. The unit interferes with mirror alinement. This may be due to my height, over 6ft. a simple radio mount would work better.
