Hi, I'm planning to regear mi jeep. It's 98 4.0L TJ. In the back I'll have a ford 8.8 3.73 so I need 3.73 gears in my front diff (Dana 30). Do I need something more than the ring and pinion in order to do this? I've read about the carrier inside the diff but i really dont want to be missing parts.
If equipped with 3.21 or lower numerical gears, you will need a carrier that can handle 3.73 gears, or a compatible full locker. Thanks for your inquiry.
