Crown lines are custom built to order and may take up to 2 weeks for delivery.
Suspension lifts reduce the necessary slack in stock brake lines. Stretched lines can risk vehicle safety and possibly tear, leak or even burst. Proper lengths are needed for many suspension lift systems. These lines are simply the most advanced brake lines available. These hoses have virtually no volumetric expansion and provide more immediate brake pedal response over standard soft expanding rubber hoses. Hose assemblies comply with Federal DOT Regulations and are legal in all 50 states. Non-aging Teflon inner core is chemically inert to all DOT approved brakes fluids including silicone. Stainless steel outer braid provides added protection to Kevlar and rubberized layers. Colorful translucent outer protection layer provides good looks and UV protection. One-piece crimp design end fittings are super strong and utilize standard brake fitting hardware. Kits come complete with front hoses and the rear hoses. Crown Performance Products 5 Layer Custom Brake Lines Reviews
Installed on '15 JK Unlimited Sahara. These stainless braided flexible brake lines appear to be well made. They give a somewhat firmer pedal feel compared to 4+ year old OE lines. Had these on my '92 YJ and they gave great service.
Very high quality lines. 2 problems. 1: I have the Big Brake conversion with Dodge brakes, Lines don't fit where they are supposed to in front of the shock. Bought the Teraflex relocation kit, cut off the metal bracket. Not a design flaw, my problem. 2. The bracket the holds the top of the brake line is not compatible with the stock (2015) bracket and you must drill a hole and self tap a screw. Hint: if you must leave a brake line off because you had to run to the Auto store, keep the cap on the brake M/C and you wont lose much fluid. Once the job was done, HUGE improvement in brake pedal feel - no more mushy pedal - thank goodness. Yes, I would still recommend this product, good price and excellent lines.
