    In preparation for a move to Europe, I installed these with home-made adapters since the plug genders are reversed for the European models. I was able to pass all the existing wires through, and the brake light wire is tapped off the 3rd-brake light wires. Using an OBD programmer, I was able to disable the "Combined STOP/TURN signal" setting on the Jeep so that the turn signal wires aren't activated by braking.

    Even while still state-side, the separate yellow turn signal is nice for safety, visibility, and even uniqueness.

    The bulb is amber, so signal will yellow the white lens of lamp. Thanks for your inquiry.
    This appear to be a darker red than compatible products. Is that accurate or just the way they look in the photos?
    That is just in the photography. The lens is the same red as the DOT legal domestic version
